The PCA Choice program has been very busy over the past several months. We are working diligently to make improvements and updates in many aspects of our program and website. We continue to look for feedback from both recipients and PCA’s alike in what changes you would like to see or how we can better meet your needs. Look for the Consumer Satisfaction Survey that will be coming out over the next few months, please take a moment to give us your feedback, comments and or concerns. This is a valuable tool we use to make improvements to the PCA Choice program. Thank You in advance for your participation.
We are updating the PCA Choice link on our website for access to numerous forms needed regularly by PCAs and/or Recipients. If there is something you would like to see available and isn’t already posted, please let us know.
We are moving forward with plans to change how trainings are offered here at SMILES. We will be scheduling three mandatory meeting dates over the next few months for PCAs to choose which one day would be most convenient for them to attend. PCAs will need to access our website at www.smilescil.org, under the PCA Choice Program link to register. These training courses will run approximately 1 hour in length, we are allotting some time for Q & A and/or problem solving chat amongst fellow employees. This is a paid training and all trainings in the future will run in this manner. If you are unable to attend any of the offered dates and times, please contact Jesi, PCA Choice Program Manager at SMILES as soon as possible.
We regret to report that one of our PCA recipients has passed away. This is a true loss to our program and the community. Lloyd Jorgenson passed on March 4th, 2016 after fighting a long battle with a variety of illnesses. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of the PCAs that so faithfully cared for Lloyd in his home. We appreciate your dedication and willingness to take such wonderful care of him making it possible for him to remain independent for so many years.
