CITIZENS FOR ACCESSIBLITY (CFA) is a self-advocacy group sponsored by SMILES, committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities by eliminating architectural and attitudinal barriers through education, teamwork, and advocacy. Members practice advocating for themselves and encourage and support others in their self-advocacy efforts.

Citizens for Accessibility meets monthly or bi monthly in local communities within SMILES service area.

Fairmont: Third Wednesday at 1:30 in the SMILES Office at 820 Winnebago Street.

Mankato: Third Thursday 12:00 – 1:30 in the SMILES office at 709 South Front Street.

Meetings are open to anyone interested in disability self advocacy efforts.
